Location
The left lower control panel and the right lower control panel are installed in the center console.
Tasks
The following buttons may be installed in the left lower control panel of model 257 depending on the equipment:
- DYNAMIC SELECT switch
- Vehicle level button (with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL))
- ECO start/stop function button
- Parking system button (with Code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC) or with code P44 (Parking Package))
- PARKTRONIC button (N72/4s15) (with Code 235 (Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC) or with code P44 (Parking Package), except code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL))
The following buttons may be installed in the left lower control panel of model 290 depending on the equipment:
- DYNAMIC SELECT switch
- Vehicle level button (with code 489 (AMG RIDE CONTROL+))
- Manual shift mode button
- ESP® Sport button OFF AMG
The following buttons may be installed in the right lower control panel of model 257 depending on the equipment:
- Volume adjustment button
- Head unit ON button
- Rear window roller sunblind button (with code 540 (Electric roller sunblind for rear window))
The following buttons may be installed in the right lower control panel of model 290 depending on the equipment:
- Volume adjustment button
- ECO start/stop function button
- Rear wing button (with code B26 (AMG Aerodynamics Package))
- Sport exhaust system button with code U78 (AMG Sport exhaust system)
Model 257 up to model year 2021
The left lower control panel and the right lower control panel send the signals from of all the buttons over the LCP-LIN (LIN A3) to the Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9) (except code 446 (Touchpad only)) or to the touchpad (A105) (with code 446 (Touchpad only)).
Model 290 up to model year 2021
The left lower control panel and the right lower control panel send the signals of all buttons via the drive unit can (CAN DRVU) to the drive unit control unit (N145/1).
