Overview
This document contains the following information:
- General
- Blockage detection
General
Blockage detection protects the component parts involved against damage caused by a load that is too strong and enables the setting of end points during normalization.
Blockage detection
A blockage is detected if during the actuation of an electric motor:
- The rpm signal of the electric motor is absent
- A force defined in the system is exceeded
The power consumption of the electric motor serves as a reference for the force.
Once a blockage is detected, actuation of the electric motor is immediately stopped.
Depending on the system, the actuation of the electric motor is reversed for a certain time or a certain way.
