| 1 | Raise vehicle. | AR00.60-P-1006A | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (12). | ||
| 3 | Remove screw (1). | *BA42.30-P-1001-01K | |
| 4 | Lift holder (2) over nut (arrow), detach from left front axle rpm sensor (L6/1) or right front axle rpm sensor (L6/2) and hang holder (2) to one side. | Model 257 (except 257.361) except code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive) | |
| 5 | Remove left front axle rotational speed sensor (L6/1) or right front axle rotational speed sensor (L6/2). | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 7 | Read out fault memory using vehicle diagnosis system; delete fault memory if necessary. | ||
