Disconnect electrical connection (1)
- Push lock (3) upwards (arrow) until the release (4) is exposed.
- Press release (4) and hold down, and swing bracket (2) all the way upwards.
The swinging action of the bracket (2) pushes the electrical connector (1) slightly out of the jack in the Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4). Do not use tools.
- Disconnect electrical connector (1) from Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4).
Do not handle the electrical connector (1) by the bracket (2).
Otherwise the bracket (2) may be damaged.
- Swing bracket (2) downwards until it locks in place and push lock (3) back over release (4).
Connect electrical connection (1).
- Push lock (3) upwards (arrow) until the release (4) is exposed.
Do not handle the electrical connector (1) by the bracket (2).
Otherwise the bracket (2) may be damaged.
- Press release (4) and hold down, and swing bracket (2) all the way upwards.
- Push electrical connector (1) onto jack in Electronic Stability Program control unit (N30/4) until it makes contact evenly along its entire length.
- Swing bracket (2) downwards until it locks in place and push lock (3) back over release (4).
This pulls the electrical connector (1) into its final position and locks it.
