Notes on possible errors in the battery test with the Midtronics MCR 717
Incorrect execution of the battery test can lead to incorrect statements about the battery condition.
When checking the battery with the Midtronics MCR 717, the following points must be observed:
- Technical device condition
Deviations from the original condition of the measuring lines and the pole terminals lead to incorrect measurement results. The pole terminals are special "Kelvin terminals". Only the original clamps may be used.
If the terminals are defective, the device does not necessarily have to be sent in for repair. Defective terminals can be exchanged separately, but if part of the cable in front of or in the terminal is damaged, the entire device must be sent in.
