1. Connect test cable from electrical connection kit according to the wiring diagram to the control unit electrical connection and the squib electrical connection.

   When checking the electrical lines from the supplemental restraint system, the electrical connections to the control unit and squib must be disconnected.

   Risk of airbag, emergency tensioning retractor deployment.

2. Check resistance of lines according to wiring diagram using a continuity tester.

   Resistance must be < 0.5 Ω.
