Service brakes
- Check braking characteristics of service brake when driving; to do so, depress brake pedal uniformly.
It must be ensured that the brake test when driving is performed as per the country-specific legislation and regulations.
Otherwise, people may be injured or there may be damage to material and the environment!
If the brake pedal pulsates or the braking deceleration values fluctuate,

determine cause and correct.

In event of a difference in service brake performance on the wheels of an axle,

Check and correct tire pressure.
If the service brake performance difference remains even after repeating brake test on wheels on a single axle,
↓
determine cause and correct.
If the locking limit is not reached,
↓
Check whether the brake values still comply with the legal regulations.
If the specified minimum requirements and tolerance limits for the brake system are not fulfilled in accordance with the country-specific legislation.

Rectify problems after conducted diagnosis and corresponding findings report.
Parking brake
- Check braking characteristics of parking brake when driving at a speed ≤ 4 km/h (≤ 2.5 mph).
Otherwise, people may be injured or there may be damage to material and the environment!
If the locking limit is not reached,

Check whether the brake values still comply with the legal regulations.
If the specified minimum requirements and tolerance limits for the brake system are not fulfilled in accordance with the country-specific legislation.

Rectify problems after conducted diagnosis and corresponding findings report.
