IMPORTANT For production-related reasons, the brake caliper support (1) of the front axle has been modified. This also results in changes to the installation depth of the screw (3) and a modification to the brake caliper guide (4).

IMPORTANT The "STEP 1" version (picture A) of the brake caliper support (1) can be identified by means of the bore (arrow a).

The dimensions of the contact surface (arrow b1) of the brake caliper guide (4) with the "STEP 1" version (picture A) of the brake caliper support (1) are different to those of the contact surface (arrow b2) of the brake caliper guide (4) with the "STEP 2" version (picture B) of the brake caliper support (1).

With the "STEP 2" version (picture B), the brake caliper guide (4) has a visible and noticeable shoulder edge (arrow c).

NOTES When replacing the brake caliper support (1), the respective, previously installed version of the installed brake caliper support (1) must always be checked.

If the assignment is incorrect, proper attachment of the brake caliper (2) via the brake caliper guide (4) on the brake caliper support (1) with screw (3) is no longer given.

This results in malfunctions in the brake system or failure of the brake system.

NOTES The use of a brake caliper guide (4) of the "STEP 1" version (picture A) in a brake caliper support (1) of the "STEP 2" version (picture B) is not permissible.

The use of a brake caliper guide (4) of the "STEP 2" version (picture B) in a brake caliper support (1) of the "STEP 1" version (picture A) is not permissible.

Incorrect assignment results in malfunctions in the brake system or failure of the brake system.

IMPORTANT If a brake caliper support (1) or brake caliper (2) is replaced, the brake caliper guide (4) in the respective version must also be replaced.

The brake caliper (2) can be installed with brake caliper supports (1) in both versions.

IMPORTANT The brake caliper supports (1) of the "STEP 1" version (picture A) are no longer produced. Part stocks of the "STEP 1" version (picture A) will continue to be available until further notice. It is therefore necessary to assign the version before ordering new parts.
