MB Advanced Control control unit, technical data
The MB Advanced Control control unit (N175) maintains a quiescent current of max. 110 uA. The entire power consumption of the MBAC (Mercedes-Benz Advanced Control) is max. 350 W. The given pull-up and pull-down resistors can be switched on and off.
The MBAC has a connection to the main battery. The input filter after connection of the main battery is designed for max. 1.5 A. The components on the main battery require max. 1 A.
MBAC also has a connection to the body battery. Here, the input filter downstream of the connection for the body battery is designed for max. 30 A. The components on the body battery require max. 25 A. The internal gateway and the input/output controller ("I/O controller") are each supplied with 5 V by a voltage converter. Here, the voltage converter of the gateway is fed by the main battery and the voltage converter of the I/O controller by the body battery. Both voltage converters are of the TPS7B82-Q1 type and can deliver a current of max. 300 mA. The components connected to the voltage converter require max. 200 mA.
The 3.3 V required to supply the Bluetooth® interface is provided via the voltage converter, which is supplied by the main battery.
