Input Interface, PSM, Function - GF54.21-D-3001TSA

Model 907

with code ED5 (Parameterisable special module)

Inputs

10 multifunction inputs 01 to 10:

IMPORTANT For the multifunction inputs, the pull-up resistors shown in the pictures cannot be manually switched on or off by the user. Switching on and off pull-up resistors is automatically performed by the parameterizable special module (PSM) depending on the selected operating mode of the input (e.g. parameter "wake-capable").

Input voltage range

The analog inputs are low-active.

Multifunction inputs 08 and 09 have an input voltage range of 0 to 20 V.

Multifunction inputs 01 and 10 have an input voltage range of 0 to 40 V.

Input current for multifunction inputs 01 and 10

Multifunction inputs 01 and 10 have a standardized analog input current of 110 uA (with 13.5 V) without active pull-ups.

With active pull-up resistor and closed switch, a standardized switch current of 10 mA flows.

Input current for multifunction inputs 08 and 09

Multifunction inputs 08 and 09 have a standardized analog input current of 100 μA (with 13.5 V) without active pull-ups.

With active pull-up resistor and closed switch, a standardized switch current of 120 μA flows.

With active "strong pull-up resistor" and closed switch, a standardized switch current of 5.7 mA flows.

Low activity

High-active

Switchable pull-up resistors

The "strong pull-up resistors" (2.1 kΩ) of multifunction inputs 08 and 09 can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.

The pull-up resistors (100 kΩ (± 7 %)) of multifunction inputs 08 and 09 can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.

The separate pull-up resistors (1.2 kΩ) of multifunction inputs 01 and 10 can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.

Switching threshold

The inputs are measured analogously; the switching thresholds can be configured by means of diagnosis.

Wake capability

The wake capability can be parameterized for multifunction input 08; an edge change at the input wakes the control unit.

This function requires the low-impedance pull-up resistor to be activated.

Pull-down resistors

The pull-down resistors (2.1 kO) are directly connected to the ground connection.

Switching threshold

The following switching thresholds apply for multifunction inputs 02, 03 and 04:

Wake capability

The wake capability can be parameterized individually; a flank change at the input wakes the control unit.

Permissible input voltage

The permissible input voltage for the high-active inputs is between 0 V and battery voltage.

Low-active

Switchable pull-up resistors

The pull-up resistors (2.1 kO) can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.

Switching threshold

The following switching thresholds apply for multifunction inputs 05, 06 and 07:

Wake capability

The wake capability can be parameterized individually; a flank change at the input wakes the control unit.

The pull-up resistor belonging to the input must be activated.

Permissible input voltage

The permissible input voltage for the low-active inputs is between 0 V and battery voltage.
