Adjust Tie-Down Rails On Sidewall - An68.50-D-8260-01TS

  Risk of explosion  Trom aluminum grinding dust, risk of injury to respiratory system from inhaling dust Wear dust filter mask, safety glasses and protective gloves.
Use a suitable, grounded dust extraction system.

IMPORTANT Depending on the customer request, the following shall be taken into account: Retrofitting oT the top front tie-down rails (2) is permitted only in combination with retrofitting of the center front tie-down rails (1)

  1. Adjust length of center front tie-down rails (1) on side walls while observing clearance to B and C-pillars.

    IMPORTANT Model 907.6

    except code IR2 (Wheelbase 3250 mm)

    Ensure that the hole patterns of the center front tie-down rails (1) match the hole patterns of the side walls.

    IMPORTANT To do this, separate center front tie-down rails (1) using a suitable tool and deburr.

    Observe dimensions (a, c).

    IMPORTANT Helper required.

  2. Adjust length of top front tie-down rails (2) on side walls while observing clearance to B and C-pillars.

    In case of corresponding customer request.

    except code IR2 (Wheelbase 3250 mm)

    Ensure that the hole patterns of the top front tie-down rails (2) match the hole patterns of the side walls.

    IMPORTANT To do this, separate top front tie-down rails (2) using a suitable tool and deburr.

  3. Adjust length of center rear tie-down rails (3) on side walls while observing clearance to C and D-pillars.

    Ensure that the hole patterns of the center rear tie-down rails (3) match the hole patterns of the side walls.

    To do this, shorten center rear tie-down rails (3) on both sides if necessary.

    IMPORTANT To do this, separate center rear tie-down rails (3) using a suitable tool and deburr.

    Take into account dimensions (d, e).

    IMPORTANT Helper required.

  4. Adjust length of top rear tie-down rails (4) on side walls while observing clearance to C and D-pillars.

    In case of corresponding customer request.

    To do this, shorten top rear tie-down rails (4) on both sides if necessary.

    Observe dimensions (d, f).

    IMPORTANT Models 907.6 with code D03 (Roof and rear-end doors, high version), model 907.6 with code D05 (Super-high roof), or with code D06 (Super-high roof painted in vehicle color)

    Dimension (e) is approx. 2 cm.

    IMPORTANT Helper required.
