The vehicle must be raised up.
The following operation steps are shown at the front on the left side of the vehicle and they must be performed similarly at the other required securing points.
- Route suitable tensioning strap (1) between the frame (2) and underbody (3) and, as shown, back to the support arm (4).
Commercially available devices/tools
Tensioning strap
- Clamp tensioning strap (1) with related ratchet (5) in place.
Only clamp tensioning strap (1) far enough to achieve sufficient tension for securing the vehicle. Never clamp tensioning strap (1) too far. Otherwise damage may occur.
Do not lower vehicle onto its wheels.
Otherwise, the catches on the support arm (4) will be released and corresponding damage and malfunctions may occur.
- Check if the vehicle is correctly secured.
If necessary,

Retension tensioning strap (1).
- Remove the means for securing the vehicle in the reverse order.
