Safety notes and warning notes 

These notes are identified by the following symbols (logos):

Danger!  stands for safety information (dangerous situations) stands for warning information (quality of work).

And it indicates what might happen.

In order to rule out any risk of personal injury, to maintain the reliability and safety of the vehicle, and to prevent damage to the vehicle, these instructions are to be read carefully and complied with in full. It is, however, not possible for Daimler AG to assess every single situation which could pose a risk of injury for the person carrying out the work.

It is therefore critical that anyone performing maintenance or repair work applies his knowledge of the subject to ensure that his own safety is not at risk, that the method of working selected does not impair the operation or safety of the vehicle and that neither the vehicle nor its major assemblies or components are damaged.

All the operations in the processes described should therefore always be performed taking into account the applicable guidelines and regulations of the local authorities, of health, accident prevention and environmental protection.
