1. Close hood, doors and sliding doors.
2. Switch electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) to position "1" (circuit 15R).
3. Use the "Back" button (1) to select the "Total distance" standard display in the multifunction display (3).
4. Press and hold "Back" button (1) for 2 s and press "OK" button (2).

   The multifunction display (3) then shows the Workshop menu with the menu items: "Vehicle data", "Dynamometer test", "Change brakepad", "ASSYST PLUS".

5. Use one of the arrow buttons (4) on the instrument cluster to select the "ASSYST PLUS" menu item then confirm with the "OK" button (2).

   The multifunction display (3) then shows the menu items: "Service data", "Full service", "Vehicle handover" (if not yet conducted), "Engine oil level measurement".

6. Use one of the arrow buttons (4) on the instrument cluster to select the "Vehicle handover" menu item then confirm with the "OK" button (2).

   The multifunction display (3) then shows the prompt "Handover vehicle?" and the menu items "No", "Yes".

7. Use one of the arrow buttons (4) on the instrument cluster to select the "Yes" menu item then confirm with the "OK" button (2).

   The multifunction display (3) then shows "Take-back not possible", along with the "Cancel" and "Confirmation" menu items.

8. Use one of the arrow buttons (4) on the instrument cluster to select the "Confirm" menu item then confirm with the "OK" button (2).
9. Press "Back" (1) button repeatedly until the "Total distance" standard display appears in the multifunction display (3).
