	Draining
1	Lift vehicle with lifting platform.	Vehicle must be horizontal. Otherwise, the transfer case will not be filled correctly. An incorrect oil filling quantity can lead to a leakage and material damage.	AR00.60-D-1000-04TS
2	Remove underbody paneling.	If installed.	AR61.30-D-1001TS
3	Clean area surrounding drain screw (2) and filling screw (1).
4	Remove filling screw (1).
5	Unscrew drain screw (2) and completely drain off transmission oil.	To do so, place a suitable receptacle under the drain screw (2).
6	Replace sealing ring on oil drain screw (2).	Pay attention to correct seat of sealing ring.
7	Screw in drain screw (2).	Drain screw to transmission housing	*BA28.40-N-1001-01E
	Filling
8	Pour in transmission oil until it reaches the lower edge of the filler opening.	Gear oil	*BF28.10-N-1001-01D
9	Screw in filling screw (1).	Filling screw to transmission housing	*BA28.40-N-1002-01E
10	Install underbody paneling.	If this was installed.	AR61.30-D-1001TS
11	Lower vehicle with vehicle lift.
12	Confirm conducted operations in maintenance booklet or in Digital Service Booklet (DSB).
