Commission steering column tube module (1) using vehicle diagnosis system. | When replacing the steering column tube module (1). | AD00.00-D-2000-06TS |
| 2 | Remove steering wheel. | AR46.10-D-0100TS | |
| 3 | Unclip steering column from steering column tube module (1). | AR68.10-D-1060TS | |
| 4 | Align markings to each other (arrow A). | ||
| 5 | Secure clock spring contact of steering columr tube module (1) against twisting using a suitable tape strip. | ||
| 6 | Detach steering column tube module (1) rearward from steering column tube until electrical connector (2) is accessible. | ||
| 7 | Unclip electrical wiring harness (3) at line bracket (arrow B) from trim. | Fig 1 | |
| 8 | Disconnect electrical connection (2). | AR54.25-D-2802-02TS | |
| Retaining clip for steering column tube module plug | *BR00.45-Z-1015-12A | ||
| 9 | Remove steering column tube module (1). | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| Check | |||
| 11 | Perform function check on all components of steering column tube module (1). |
