Remove/Install Additional Battery For Park Pawl Emergency Shift Mode - Ar54.10-D-0120TSR

  Risk of fire  /risk of explosion due to short circuit and escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of (burn) injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte/mist, short circuit and arcing. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing battery electrolyte or absorption of lead through the skin or body orifices. Risk of death  due to voltage U >= 30 V AC and U >= 60 V DC. No fires, sparks, open flames, or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing, and glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1.1 Remove driver seat. Model 907 with code SB3 (Comfort version suspension seat, driver's seat) AR91.10-D-1000TS
1.2 Remove turn plate with mounted driver's seat. Model 907 with code SR8 (Driver's seat with rotating frame)
IMPORTANT Do not remove driver's seat from turn plate.

1.3 Move driver's seat to uppermost and foremost position. Model 907 except code SB3 (Comfort version suspension seat, driver's seat), except code SR8 (Driver's seat with rotating frame)  
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
3 Release seat base cover (2) from seat base (3) and remove from working area. If installed.  
4 Remove relay holder (7) from seat base (3) and remove from working area with attached electric lines. If required.  
5 Disconnect ground line (4) from auxiliary battery (1).    
6 Disconnect positive line (5) from auxiliary battery (1). INSTALLATION NOTES :
Note colored marking of positive line (5) and ground line (4).
Otherwise, the positive line (5) or the ground line (4) may be swapped when connected and therefore cause damage to the electrical system.
 
7 Release auxiliary battery (1) at catch hook (6) and remove from seat base (3).    
8 Install in the reverse order.
