1	Adjust length of center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) or just center tie-down rails (1) to inside parts of sidewalls.		AN68.50-D-8260-01TS
		Depending on the customer request, the following must be taken into consideration: The retrofit of the top tie-down rails (2) is permissible only in combination with the retrofit of the center tie-down rails (1). The required center tie-down rails (1) or center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) are to be determined via XENTRY parts information depending on the vehicle length.

3	Clean mating surfaces on the center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) or only on the center tie-down rails (1) and inside parts of the sidewalls.	The mating surfaces must be completely dry and free of dust and grease. Otherwise, it is not ensured that the adhesion of the center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) will be sufficient. The number of center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) may vary depending on the vehicle length.

4	Roughen mating surfaces on the center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) or just the center tie-down rails (1) in the hatched areas.	Roughen center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) on the rear.
5	Treat roughened mating surfaces immediately with activator.	Korabond activator HG81	*BR00.45-Z-1172-02A
6	Allow the activator to flash off.	A flash-off time of at least 10 min and max 24 h up to adhesive application must be complied with. If adhesive application occurs only after 24 h, ↓ apply activator to the bonding surfaces again beforehand.
7	Apply adhesive (4) to the center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) or just the center tie-down rails (1).	Apply adhesive (4) with a gap of 1 cm to the outer edges (right and left). Disconnect adhesive bead from the rivet holes of the center tie-down rails (1) for approx. 1 cm. This prevents adhesive extrusion in the visible area. Apply adhesive (4) centrally on the mating surfaces of the center tie-down rails (1). Apply adhesive bead to the top tie-down rails (2) underneath the rivet holes. 8	Wet adhesive bead with water	Apply only fine spraying fog.
9	Position center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) or just the center tie-down rails (1) on the body.	Aid of helper required.
10	Retrofit center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) or just the center tie-down rails (1) on the body.	Aid of helper required. Number of rivets (3) can vary depending on vehicle equipment. To do this, install rivets (3) through the center tie-down rails (1) and top tie-down rails (2) or just the center tie-down rails (1) in the holes. The full loading capacity of the center tie-down rail (1) and top tie-down rail (2) is ensured after an adhesive curing time of approx. 7 days.
11	Clean bonding surface for information label (5).	Bonding surface must be absolutely free of dust and grease. Otherwise, a sufficient degree of adhesion cannot be assured.

12	Attach information label (5).	Attach information label (5) at a clearly visible point as shown. To do so, remove protective foil on information label (5).
13	Enter special equipment into online vehicle data card.	Designation of the affected special equipment: Code V42 (side wall tie-down rails on belt rail) or code VC4 (side wall tie-down rails on the roof frame) Attach note "tie-down rails retrofitted as per AN68.50-D-8260TS " under field organization texts to KG68.
