PSM Logic Functions, Timer Block Function - GF54.21-D-3212TSA

Model 907

with code ED5 (Parameterisable special module)

G13792303

Timer block function

The timer block has a trigger input (E1 ), a reset input (E2 ) as well as an output (AA ) and an output (AB ), whereby output (AB ) is always the inversion of output (Aa). Outputs (Aa, Ab) become active for a definable time after triggering.

A codable filter is connected upstream of the trigger input (E1 ) and upstream of the reset input (E2).

The reset input (E2 ) is always state-controlled and can reset the timer at any time.

It is possible to set whether the timer block is "retriggerable" and whether evaluation of the input signal is edge-controlled or state-controlled.

Coding of timer block

The trigger input (E1 ) and the reset input (E2 ) of the timer block are coded by assigning an identification number (ID) of a signal from the signal pool.

Dependencies on vehicle state can also be set.

The time parameter (PZt ) is an 8-bit value whose time (t) can also be set.

CODING VIA DATA ENTRY TABLE

Designation in data entry table Data entry bit width Data bit evaluation Meaning
B1_G1_TB1_time 8 bit - 0...255
B1_G1_TB1_time base 4 bit - 100 ms → 1
1 s → 2
10 s → 3
1 min → 4
10 min → 5
B1_G1_TB1_type_of_evaluation 1 bit - state-triggered → 0
edge-triggered → 1
B1_G1_TB1_edge_evaluation 1 bit - positive edge evaluation → 0
negative edge evaluation → 1
B1_G1_TB1_retriggerable_timer_block 1 bit - not "retriggerable" → 0
"retriggerable" → 1
B1_G1_TB1_1 32 bit 1 bit Filter + input signal data entry signal ID for trigger input (E1)
B1_G1_TB1_2 32 bit 1 bit Filter + input signal data entry signal ID for reset input (E2 )
SIGNAL ID OF OUTPUTS (AA , AB )

Designation in signal ID list Data bit width Meaning
Out_G1_TB 1 bit Signal ID of output (Aa)
Out_G1_TB_inv 1 bit Signal ID of inverted output (AB )

The output signal of the timer block is written to the signal pool. At the same time, the inversion of the output signal is calculated and also placed in the signal pool.

The same applies for the other timer blocks with the naming conventions:
