Ensure that the lead seal (4) is not in the vicinity of rotating parts after installation.
Otherwise, the lead seal (4) will be damaged and a new tachograph inspection will have to be carried out.
- Guide wire (1) of lead seal (4) in direction of arrow (arrow A) through screw (2).
The wire (1) can be folded at the frle end using pliers to make insertion easier.
- Route wire (1) underneath RPM sensor (3) as shown.
- Guide wire (1) through eyelet (arrow B) as shown.
- Guide wire (1) through lead seal (4) as shown.
- Move wire (1) on both sides so it is of equal length.

- Turn tab (5) of lead seal (4) clockwise.
When doing so, carefully hold lead seal (4) and guide it upward when turning the tab (5).
Otherwise the tab (5) may be ripped off prematurely.
- Cut off protruding wire (1).
