System errors are displayed on the multifunction display (A1p13) or on the display, warning and indicator lamps (A1 p14) or through constant illumination of the respective indicator or warning lamp.
- Switch on ignition and check indicator and warning lamps as well as multifunction display (A1p13) and display, warning and indicator lamps (A1p14) for proper function.
- Start engine and check that indicator and warning lamps have switched off.
All indicator and warning lamps, except parking brake indicator lamp (A1e10), must go out.
e.g. indicator lamps for turn signal light, low beam, high beam, rear fog light.
- Check all further indicator and warning lamps for proper operation.
To do so, operate parking brake; close hood, all doors and sliding doors.
- Switch off engine.
