PSM Logic Functions, Hysteresis Block Function - GF54.21-D-3208TSA

with code ED5 (Parameterisable special module)
Hysteresis block, function, general
The input (E) of the hysteresis block is 16 bits wide. Output (AA ) and output (AB ) are digital (binary), whereby output (AB ) always represents the inversion of output (Aa).
A codable input filter is connected upstream of the input (E) of the hysteresis block.
Using the hysteresis block, it is possible to e.g. convert an analog signal into a digital signal using a threshold switch.
Coding of hysteresis block
The lower threshold parameter (low) (PSU ) and the upper threshold parameter (high) (PSO ) can be coded using the data entry table.
- Value (W) < lower threshold parameter (low) (P Su ) → output (AA ) = 0
- Value (W) > upper threshold parameter (high) (P So ) → output (AA ) = 1
- Lower threshold parameter (low) (PSu ) > upper threshold parameter (high) (PSo )
No behavior is defined for lower threshold parameter (low) (PSu ) > upper threshold parameter (high) (PSo ).
Signal identification number = Signal ID.
| Designation in data entry table | Data entry bit width | Data bit evaluation | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| B1_G1_HB1_signal_ID | 32 bit | 16 bit | Filter + signal-ID input signal data entry |
| B1_G1_HB1_threshold_low | 16 bit | - | Lower threshold parameter (low) (PSU ) |
| B1_G1_HB1_threshold_high | 16 bit | - | Upper threshold parameter (high) (Pso ) |
| Designation in signal ID list | Data bit width | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Out_G1_HB | 1 bit | Signal ID for output (AA ) |
| Out_G1_HB_inv | 1 bit | Signal ID for inverted output (A B ) |
The same applies for the other hysteresis blocks under observation of the naming conventions:
- "B<block number>_G<group number>_JHB<number>_SignalJD"
- "B<block number>_G<group number>JHB<number>JThresholdJ (low, high)"
- "Out_G<group number>_HB<number>"
- "Out_G<group number>_HB<number>_inv"
