Partially Prepare Upper Front Longitudinal Member - Ar62.20-P-1287-02LF

MODEL 217, 222 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Grind mating surfaces on upper front longitudinal member (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

2. Grind mating surfaces on upper front longitudinal member (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

3. Grind mating surfaces on strut (2) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

4. Remove grinding dust.
