Press out elastomer bearing (1) 

1. Place sleeve (3) onto press.
2. Place tension strut (2) with chamfered side facing upwards onto sleeve (3).
3. Place extraction and insertion tool (5) onto tension strut (2).
4. Pre-tension press and align tension strut (2), sleeve (3) and extraction and insertion tool (5) with each other.
5. Press out elastomer bearing (1).

   Press in elastomer bearing (1) 

6. Place sleeve (3) onto press.
7. Place tension strut (2) with chamfered side facing upwards onto sleeve (3).
8. Position new elastomer bearing (1) with crush ring (4) onto tension strut (2).

   The arrow marked on the elastomer bearing (1) must always face towards the wheel side.

   Otherwise, it may cause damage or malfunction.

   Ensure that bar (arrow a) is positioned correctly.

   Otherwise, it may cause damage or malfunction.

   Install respective elastomer bearing (1) according to the figures (B, C).

   Install caster correction in negative direction, as shown in figure (B).

   Install caster correction in positive direction, as shown in figure (C).

9. Place extraction and insertion tool (5) onto new elastomer bearing (1).
10. Pre-tension press and align tension strut (2), sleeve (3), new elastomer bearing (1) and extraction and insertion tool (5) with each other.
11. Press in new elastomer bearing (1) far enough until crush ring (4) can be turned.
12. Release press and remove crush ring (4).
13. Turn over tension strut (2) and place onto sleeve (3).
14. Place extraction and insertion tool (5) onto new elastomer bearing (1).
15. Press new elastomer bearing (1) into center in tension strut (2).
