Detach/Attach Belt End Fitting - AR91.40-P-1030-02S

Model 223 

except code 562 (Driver seat belt buckle with integrated tensioning function) 

Remove 

1. Pull seat belt end fitting (1) upwards in direction of arrow (A).

2. Release seat belt end fitting (1) through minimum (approx. 2 mm) lifting of spring (2) in direction of arrow (B1), then push downwards in direction of arrow (B2) and remove.

   Install 

3. Position seat belt end fitting (1) in direction of arrow (D) on bolt (3) then pull upwards in direction of arrow (A).

4. Push seat belt end fitting (1) downwards in direction of arrow (B2).

   The spring (2) must make contact at bolt head of screw/bolt (3). Dimension (E) must be at least 1.7 mm.

5. Have engagement checked by a second person.
