Use Of Electrical Function Schematics - OV00.01-P-1901-09A
Model All
Wiring diagrams
The function schematic is assigned to the function groups 00-91 under the information type "PE", e.g.:
- PE91.29-Q-2059XXA
- PE07.08-Q-2101XXB
Function schematics
The control units and electrical components involved in one function are illustrated with pictographs. The functional connections between the components and the control units are shown as a direct line or data bus line.

Variants
The function schematic can contain variants that are framed to identify them as variants and are given a validity element.
The following validity elements can be used:
- U texts
- Code
- Time limitations
- Vehicle or major assembly model designation
- Vehicle identification end number
The validity elements "U..." or "Code..." are listed in the legend.
Logical combinations of variants are represented as follows:
- AND/OR combination
Validity elements are presented one below the other; the variant is valid if at least one of the validity elements applies.
- AND combination
Validity elements are presented indented one below the other; the variant is valid if all the validity elements apply.
The variant 1 is valid if at least one of the two validities applies.
The variant 2 is valid if both validities apply.
The variant 3 is valid if at least one of the two validities A or B and, in addition to B being valid, at least one of the two validities C or D applies.
The variant 4 is valid if both validities A and B apply and/or the validity C applies.
Special considerations for presentation in the Workshop Information System
In the Workshop Information System, there is an option of selecting references to further wiring diagrams and to access these wiring diagrams.
