Empty Refrigerant Circuit In Refrigerator Box, Evacuate And Recharge - AR86.61-P-1022SG

Model 223 

with code 308 (Refrigerated compartment in rear passenger compartment) 

with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version)

DANGER Risk of explosion  caused by welding and soldering work on refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant. Never perform welding work on or near refrigerator box or compressor. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. AS86.61-Z-0001-02H 
Notice  Action if refrigerant circuit in refrigerator box is damaged   AH86.61-P-0002-01H

  Draining     
1 Deactivate refrigerator box. IMPORTANT Only open refrigerant circuit 24 h after switching off refrigerator box.  
2 Remove rear panel trim.   AR68.30-P-4750SG
3.1 Remove cap from adapter (5). If adapter (5) is installed.  
3.2 Remove cap from filler connection (4). If no adapter (5) is installed.  
4 Insert sealing ring (7) in adapter (5) and screw onto filler connection (4). If no adapter (5) is installed.
NOTES
Counterhold filler connection (4) when screwing on adapter (5).
Refrigerator box refrigerant compressor (3) may otherwise be damaged.
IMPORTANT Adapter (5) is available as replacement part with sealing ring (7) and new cap. Adapter (5) remains on filler connection (4) after filling refrigerator box.
 
5 Connect glass piston (1) between air conditioning service unit and refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box.    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 15 82 00 Air conditioning service unit R134a   WS83.00-P-0064B
6 Connect shutoff valve (6) of air conditioning service unit to adapter (5) and drain refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box.

  Evacuate     
7 Evacuate refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box with air conditioning service unit.

  Filling     
8 Fill refrigerant circuit of refrigerator box.   AR86.61-P-1001-01SG

    FLUID SPECIFICATION Climate control *BF86.61-P-1001-01A 
9 Disconnect shutoff valve (6) of air conditioning service unit from adapter (5) and install new cap.    
INSPECT Check     
10 Check refrigerant circuit for leaks.
