Shown on removed cylinder head 

1. Detach valve stem seal (1) using pliers (01).
2. Fit protective sleeve onto the valve stem.
3. Wet sealing lip of valve stem seal (1) with engine oil.

   Make sure that valve stem seal (1) (picture A) is installed on inlet side and valve stem seal (1)

   (picture B) is installed on exhaust side.

   The valve stem seals (1) are identical in color and must not be swapped.

4. Press on valve stem seal (1) up to end stop.

   Use the following special tool:

   Intake valve: 

   Use drift (02) 604 589 00 43 00.

   Exhaust valve: 

   Use drift (02) 119 589 00 43 00.

5. Remove protective sleeve from the valve stem.
