Remove
- Mark position of drive shaft (1) relative to flange of transmission or transfer case or rear axle differential in color.
- Attach
counterholder to screws of flex disk (2).
Aid of helper required.
- Remove bolts (2a).
- Remove
Shown on flexible coupling on automatic transmission
Install
- Restore original installation position of drive shaft (1) using colored marking.
- Slide drive shaft (1) onto flange of transmission or transfer case or rear axle differential.
Carefully slide on drive shaft (1).
Otherwise the pilot bushing in the drive shaft (1) may be damaged.
- Attach
- Screw in screw/bolts (2a)
