	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle.		AR00.60-P-1006A
2	Remove center engine compartment lining (1).	Pay attention to different screw/bolt lengths and screw/bolt diameters.
		Model 223 with code 481 (Sump shield) with code ME10 (Hybrid vehicle (plug-in, PHEV)) Screw, underride guard to front/center diagonal strut carrier	*BA61.40-P-1006-01G
		Model 223 with code 481 (Sump shield) with code ME10 (Hybrid vehicle (plug-in, PHEV)) Screw/bolt, front beam/underride guard to frame integral support	*BA61.40-P-1004-01G
3	Remove front engine compartment lining (2).
4	Release brackets of fire-extinguishing system on side front engine compartment lining (3) on right and left.	Model 223 with code Z21 (Fire extinguishing system)
5	Release bracket of temperature sensor of fire-extinguishing system on side front engine compartment lining (3) on left.	Model 223 with code Z21 (Fire extinguishing system)
6	Remove side front engine compartment linings (3).	Model 223 except code ME10 (Hybrid vehicle (plug-in, PHEV))
7	Secure brackets of fire-extinguishing system on right and left using cable ties.	Model 223 with code Z21 (Fire extinguishing system)
		Do not kink or bend the extinguishing agent lines. Malfunctions of fire-extinguishing system will otherwise occur.
8	Remove rear engine compartment lining (4).
9	Install in the reverse order.
