Rear Wheel Well Section Cut Off - Ar63.10-P-0662-01S

Model 223.0/1/9 

The next steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle for model 223.1 and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle in the event of damage.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Mark separating point on outer rear wheel well (1) and cut (area A).

   Do not cut too deeply.

   Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

   Dimensions: 

   a = approx. 20 mm

2. Separate adhesive bead between outer rear wheel well (1) and rear fender (area B).

   The outer rear wheel well (1) is bonded to the rear fender.

3. Heat outer rear wheel well (1) in cross-hatched area (arrow).

   Cross-hatched area (arrow) is bonded.

4. Remove outer rear wheel well section (1).

5. Remove glue residues from fender (area C).

   The height of the remaining adhesive should be max. 2 mm.

6. Remove loose adhesive material.
7. Repair bare parts with primer stick (area C).
