Bonding surfaces must be free from dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components.
Otherwise, there may be adhesion problems.
Only use the adhesive kit indicated in the XENTRY Portal parts information.
- Check rear fixed element (1) for damage.
If there is a problem:

Replace rear fixed element (1).
- Attach cup suction tools to outside of rear fixed element (1) and set down rear fixed element (1) on suitable base with inside facing upwards.
Aid of helper required.
- Cut back adhesive bead (2) at rear fixed element (1) to a height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using a scraper.
If rear fixed element (1) will be reused.
- Completely cut back residues of spacers (3) and adhesive bead (2) present in this area.
If rear fixed element (1) will be reused.
- Remove cutting residues using a wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
If rear fixed element (1) will be reused.
- Apply cleaner using part of cleaning cloth to bonding surface on inside of rear fixed element (1) and wipe dry with other part of cleaning cloth.
Allow cleaner to dry completely.

- If rear fixed element (1) was replaced.
Apply primer so that it uniformly covers all bonding surfaces on inside of rear fixed element (1) and allow to fully dry.
Do not apply any primer to uncoated areas.
This primer layer remains visible after installation.
- If rear fixed element (1) will be reused.
Apply primer only to bonding surfaces without residual adhesive material on inside of rear fixed element (1) and allow to fully dry.
Do not apply any primer to uncoated areas. This primer layer remains visible after installation.
- If rear fixed element (1) was replaced.
