Prepare Body Flange For Front Fixed Element Of Panoramic Sliding Sunroof For Installation - AR77.21-P-0803-03S

1. Cut adhesive beads (3) on panoramic sliding sunroof frame (2) down to a height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using a scraper.

   Max. 2 mm of adhesive beads (3) may remain.

2. Remove cutting residues from panoramic sliding sunroof frame (2) with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
3. Clean adhesive beads (3) on panoramic sliding sunroof frame (2).

   The cleaner is an integral part of the adhesive kit.

4. Repair paint damage.

   Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG: https://xentryportaLi.daimler.com

5. Apply primer in gluing area if glue residues are not present.

   Only use the adhesive kit indicated in the XENTRY Portal parts information. 

   Otherwise, adhesion problems will occur. 

   Apply primer only after primer has dried.

   Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   The primer is an integral part of the adhesive kit.
