| 1 | Move backrests of rear seats to foremost position. | ||
| 2 | Open stowage box (1) at rear, remove insert and remove screws (2). | Model 223 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) with code 224 (Individual rear seats) |

| 3 | Unclip center trim strip (3) and disconnect electrical connector. | Fig 1 | |
| 4 | Remove center seat belt from guide (8). | Model 223 with code 223 (Electric backrest adjustment and head restraints) except code 224 (Individual rear seats) |

| 5 | Remove center trim strip (3). | ||
| 6 | Unclip left cover (4) and/or right cover (5) of seat belt guide and remove seat belt from seat belt guide. | Fig 1 | |
| 7 | Unclip left trim strip (6) and/or right trim strip (7), disconnect electrical connector and remove left trim strip (6) and/or right trim strip (7). | ||

| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
