1. Mark separating points on roof frame upper section (1) and separate (areas A, B).

   Transfer separation points from vehicle.

2. Grind mating surfaces on roof frame upper section (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Underside of roof frame upper section (1) 

3. Grind mating surfaces on roof frame upper section (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

4. Remove grinding dust.

5. Mark separating points on roof frame lower section (2) and separate (areas C, D).

   Transfer separation points from vehicle.

6. Grind mating surfaces on roof frame lower section (2) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces (areas E).
