Maintenance indicator on wiper blade

	Risk of injury  . Moving parts can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities.	No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area of mechanical components when moving components.	AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
	Preparatory activity
1	Close hood and, if necessary, tailgate.
2	Move windshield wipers of windshield to change position.	Move to the change position as follows: Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15). Then immediately switch electronic ignition lock control unit back to position "0" again. within 15 s, press the "spray" switch on the combination switch and hold for 3 s.
3	Fold out wiper arms (1) of windshield or rear window.	Secure wiper arms (1) against folding back in an uncontrolled manner onto the windshield or the rear window, and fold wiper arms (1) only with wiper blades (2) fitted onto the windshield or the rear window. Damage can otherwise occur.
	Check
4	Check maintenance display of wiper blades (2).	Wiper blades (2) with maintenance indicator. If the protective foil is still present on the maintenance display, ↓ Remove protective foil. If the maintenance display is yellow, ↓ Replace wiper blades (2). After obtaining special order.
5	Check wiper blades (2) for proper mounting and damage.	If problems are determined, ↓ Replace wiper blades (2). After obtaining special order.
6	Check rubber profiles (3) for hardening, cracks and wear and ensure that they are correctly seated in guides and end caps.	If problems are determined, ↓ Replace wiper blades (2). After obtaining special order.
	Finishing activity
7	Position wiper arms (1) on windshield or rear window.	Position wiper arms (1) on windshield or rear window only with wiper blades (2) fitted. Damage can otherwise occur.
8	Move windshield wipers of windshield to design position.	Move to design position as follows: Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15). press the "spray" switch on the combination switch.
