REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key
outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
   
2 Remove rear-end center-section trim.   AR68.30-P-4786S
3 Remove trunk floor (1). SPECIAL TOOL Dismantling tool Fig 2
4 Release and disconnect electrical connector (2).    
5 Remove buffer battery management system control unit (N178).    
6 Install in the reverse order.    
  Finishing activity     
7 Commission buffer battery management system control unit (N178).
