IMPORTANT Before starting the following work instructions, the 48 V battery (G1/3) must have all old thermal compound removed and must be cleaned.

  1. Mark fill level of thermal compound on double cartridge (1).
  2. Break off latch (2) and open double cartridge (1) by doing so.

    IMPORTANT Note maximum of 1 h processing time.

  3. Screw mixing spout (3) onto double cartridge (1).
  4. Insert double cartridge (1) into a commercially available 50 ml double-cartridge gun and completely fill mixing spout (3) with thermal compound.

  5. Apply 40 % of cartridge contents, approx. 6.1 ml, centrally to area (A) of 48 V battery (G1/3), in the form of a continuous bead, as shown.

    IMPORTANTDimensions: 

    C = 154 mm

    D = 211 mm

    F = 12 mm

  6. Apply 50 % of remaining cartridge contents, approx. 4.6 ml, centrally to area (B) of 48 V battery (G1/3), in the form of a continuous bead, as shown.

    IMPORTANTDimensions: 

    E = 146 mm

    G = 63 mm

    H = 85 mm

    IMPORTANT Approx. 4.3 ml of thermal compound is left in the mixing nozzle.
