Remove/Install Radar Sensor For Lane Assistant In Rear Bumper - AR54.71-P-0200LF

Model 217, 222 

up to model year 2018 

with code 238 (Active lane keeping Assist) 

Model 217, 222

with code 253 (Rear impact warning and protection system)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove rear bumper. Model 217 AR88.20-P-2200LC
    Model 222 AR88.20-P-2200LF
2 Remove expansion rivets (1). Model 222
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT : Check expansion rivet (1) for damage and replace if necessary.
 
3.1 Push retaining frame downwards (arrow) and remove rear center bumper radar sensor (B29/10). Model 222  
3.2 Release retaining lugs and remove rear center bumper radar sensor (B29/10). Model 217  
4 Release and disconnect electrical connector (2).    
5 Install in the reverse order.    
6 Commission rear center bumper radar sensor (B29/10). When replacing rear center bumper radar sensor (B29/10).
