| 2 | Raise vehicle | ||
| 3 | Remove expansion rivet (2) from right front fender liner | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Open engine hood | ||
| 5 | Remove right intake air duct upstream of air filter (4) | ||
| 6 | Remove cover (3) | ||
| 7 | Unclip coolant line (6) from washer fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 8 | Unclip coolant lines (8) from washer fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 9 | Disconnect electrical connector (7) | ||
| 10 | Remove screw/bolt (5) | ||
| 11 | Unclip coolant expansion reservoir (9) from the supports and place to one side with connected coolant lines (8) | ||
| 12 | Remove screws/bolts (10) | ||
| 13 | Raise washer fluid reservoir (1) far enough until the windshield washer system pump (M5/1) is accessible | ||
| 14 | Remove windshield washer system pump (M5/1) from washer fluid reservoir (1) and place to one side with connected electrical line and washer fluid hose | Fig 3 | |
| 15 | Remove infrared camera washer fluid pump from the washer fluid reservoir (1) and place to one side with connected electrical line and washer fluid hose | MODEL 217, 222 with CODE 610 (Night View Assist Plus) |

| 18 | Take off washer fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 19 | Remove switch for windshield washer system washer fluid level (S42) from washer fluid reservoir (1) | When replacing the washer fluid reservoir (1). | |

| 21 | Fill washer fluid reservoir (1) | ||
