| 2 | Lift fender liner (5) in area of electrical connector (6) out of front fender | Fig 2 | |
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connector (6) | ||
| 4 | Remove screw (3) | *BA91.60-P-1001-02A | |
| *BA91.60-P-1002-02A | |||
| 5 | Pull engine hood lifter (2) upwards out of the hinge (4) | ||
| 6 | Check engine hood lifter (2) | If damage is present: ↓ Replace engine hood lifter (2) and dispose of defective engine hood lifter (2) properly. |
