Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. |

| 1 | Slowly open cap of engine cooling system coolant expansion reservoir and remove | ||
| 2 | Remove front and center lower engine compartment paneling | AR61.20-P-1105LF | |
| Drain off | |||
| 3 | Slide suitable drain hose onto drain fitting (3) | ||
| 4 | Open drain valve (4) on engine cooling system cooler (1) and drain off coolant into a suitable container | Otherwise damage will occur on drain valve (4) and on engine cooling system cooler (1). |

| 6 | Remove the coolant hose (2) on engine oil cooler in the right wheel arch and drain off coolant into a suitable container | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
| 7 | Reattach the coolant hose (2) to the engine oil cooler | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |
