The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.

- Expose spot welds on mounting console (2) and cut out (areas A, B, C and D).
- Remove mounting console (2)

- Mark separating points on front roof frame (1) and cut (areas E).
Dimensions:
a = 10 mm

- Coat mating surfaces on side roof frame (3) with zinc dust paint.
