Removing Rear Section Of Roof Paneling - Ar65.10-P-5760-01LC

1. Insert spacers at undamaged side of fold of roof paneling between roof paneling rear section (1) and side roof paneling (2) and fix in place.

   : When installing the roof paneling rear section (1) can be fitted with the adjusted spacer blocks.

2. Mark positions of spacer blocks on vehicle.
3. Expose spot welds on roof paneling rear section (1) and drill with Ø 5 mm bit for high-strength steels (areas B and D).
4. Expose spot welds on roof paneling rear section (1) (areas A and C).
5. Cut out spot welds on roof paneling rear section (1) (areas A and C).
6. Remove roof paneling rear section (1).

7. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in the cross-hatched inner C-pillar sidewall.

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

8. Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
9. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
