Install Front Roof Frame - Ar65.20-P-1006-05LCA

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.

1. Install front roof frame (1) and mounting console (2) and fix in place.
2. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes on mounting console (2) with bit for height strength steels (areas B₁ , B₂ and B₃ )
3. Remove mounting console (2).
4. Deburr rivet holes on mounting console (2) on both sides.
5. Remove drilling chips.

6. Install front roof frame (1), fit and fix in place.
7. Front roof frame (1) (areas C₁ , C₂ and C₃ ).
8. Apply 2-component adhesive to body (areas D).

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

   Observe manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of adhesive.

9. Install mounting console (2), fit and fix in place.
10. Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.4 X 12 blind rivets (areas E₁ ).
11. Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.5 X 12.5 blind rivets (areas E₂ , E₃ and E₄ ).

12. Mounting consoles (2) (areas F₁ , F₂ , F₃ and F₄ ).
13. Arrest transitions at crimped edge for seals with vise grip pliers until the 2-component adhesive has cured.
14. Mounting consoles (2) (areas G₁ , G₂ , G₃ and G₄ ).

15. Front roof frame (1) (areas A).

    Inert gas weld in intervals and allow welding area to cool down in between. Reduces heat distortion

16. Grind inert gas welds down flat (areas A).

17. Stiffening plate (3) (area H).
