Install Front Roof Frame - Ar65.20-P-1006-05LC

MODEL 217.3 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.

1. Install front roof frame (1) and mounting console (2) and fix in place.
2. Drill rivet holes on mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit for high-strength steels (areas B).

3. Drill rivet holes on mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit for high-strength steels (areas C and D).
4. Remove mounting console (2).
5. Deburr rivet holes on mounting console (2) on both sides.
6. Remove drilling shavings with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.

7. Install front roof frame (1) and mounting console (2) and fix in place.
8. Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.5 X 12 blind rivets (areas F).
9. Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.5 X 12.5 blind rivets (areas E).

10. Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.4 X 14.0 blind rivets with countersunk head (areas G and H).
11. Rivet mounting console (2) with Ø 6.4 X 15.5 blind rivets with countersunk head (areas I and J).

12. Front roof frame (1) (areas A).

    Inert gas weld in intervals and allow welding area to cool down in between. Reduces heat distortion

13. Grind inert gas welds down flat (areas A)
