| Remove | |||
| 1 | Remove cover (1) under instrument panel on right. | AR68.10-P-1520LF | |
| 2 | Fold over floor covering. | ||
| 3 | Release footplate (2) and fold over. | ||
| 4 | Turn engagement (4) clockwise by 900 using a screwdriver and release. | ||
| 5 | Remove screw/bolts (6). | If screws (6) are installed. | |
| 6 | Release right footwell bass speaker (H4/43) from frame (3) using screwdriver (arrows) and press out. | Do not damage frame (3). Otherwise, it is not possible to correctly mount the right footwell bass speaker (H4/43). |

| 7 | Remove right footwell bass speaker (H4/43) until electrical connector is accessible. | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |

| 8 | Disconnect electrical connector and remove right footwell bass speaker (H4/43). | ||
| Install | |||
| 9 | File studs (7) and drill out with a 3 mm drill bit. | The right footwell bass speaker (H4/43) cannot be installed without damage when the air conditioner housing (A32) is installed. It is necessary to rework the studs (7) on the right footwell bass speaker (H4/43). |

| 10 | File catches (8). | The right footwell bass speaker (H4/43) cannot be installed without damage when the air conditioner housing (A32) is installed. It is necessary to rework the catches (8) on the right footwell bass speaker (H4/43). |

| 11 | Connect electrical connector to right footwell bass speaker (H4/43). | ||
| 12 | Position right footwell bass speaker (H4/43) on frame (3) and slide in all the way using long wedge (5). | Fig 1 | |
| 13 | Turn engagement (4) 900 counterclockwise using a screwdriver and lock. | ||
| 14 | Screw in bolts (6). | If no screws (6) are yet installed: ↓ Use 4x16 screws. |

| 15 | Fold back footplate (2) and secure. | ||
| 16 | Fold back floor covering. | ||
| 17 | Install cover (1) under instrument panel on right. | AR68.10-P-1520LF |
