- Route the CD drive wiring harness (1) to the right towards the glove compartment, starting at the driver-side fuse and relay module (K40/6).
- Route the CD drive wiring harness (1) behind the instrument cluster to the glove compartment.
Using two felt strips, fasten the red line (rt) to the crossmember behind the instrument cluster.
- Route brown line (br) and red line (rt) underneath the upper control panel, and fix in place using adhesive felt tape (4).
- Route CD drive wiring harness (1) from the center console to the glove compartment.
- Use a cable tie to fasten the CD drive wiring harness (1) to the vehicle wiring harness behind the center console.
- Use head unit USB port connector (1.4) to route CD drive wiring harness (1) to head unit (A26/17) in the center console.
- Connect head unit USB port connector (1.4) of CD drive wiring harness (1) to head unit (A26/17).
- Route brown line (br) of CD drive wiring harness (1) along the center console to the left front footwell.
- Connect brown line (br) to left center tunnel ground point (W83)

- Use adhesive felt tape (4) to fasten brown line (br) on air duct.
- Install contact springs (1.3) of red line (rt) in cavity 1 of electrical fuse 204 (K40/6f204).
