	Remove/install
1	Unclip cover (2)	Observe sequence when detaching at mounting points. Otherwise the cover (2) can break. First lift catch hook (arrow a) below window control unit with suitable screwdriver. Slightly guide cover (2) out of armrest and hold so that catch hook cannot (arrow a) can no longer arrest. Then unclip cover (2) from front and rear at both catch hooks (arrows b) with unclipping device. Clip remover	Fig 1
2	Remove bolt (3)
3	Unclip cover (9) from door trim and unscrew bolt (10)	Model 217.4
4	Unclip door liner (1) all the way around from retaining clips (5, 6)	: Check retaining clips (5, 6) for damage. If the retaining clip (5) remains in the front door during removal ↓ Remove retaining clip (5) and slide into corresponding door lining bracket (1)
5	Remove door lining (1) upward
6	Unhook inside door opener cable from inner door handle
7	Disconnect electrical connectors (8) from control unit
8	Disconnect electrical connectors (4, 7) from speakers
9	Remove door lining (1)	: Ensure that door inner lock is seated correctly.
10	Install in the reverse order
