2	Assess wear pattern of tires on front and rear axle.	Greater wear at the shoulder compared to the center of the tire is normal for the front wheeland-tire assemblies. On the tires of the rear wheel-and-tire assemblies the wear at the center of the tread depth is mostly somewhat more pronounced than at the tire shoulders. If an unusual wear pattern is present, ↓ Rectify problem. After obtaining special order.
3	Assess tire tread depths of tires on front and rear axle.
		Model 223 (except 223.182) with code Z07 (B7 armoring on special protection version) Observe minimum tread depth for special protection vehicles and country-specific specifications for minimum tread depth. If the minimum tread depth is reached, ↓ replace the tire. After obtaining special order. For summer tires, a minimum tread depth of approx. 3 mm (0.12 inches) and, for winter tires, a minimum tread depth of approx. 4 mm (0.16 inches) is recommended.	GF40.10-P-1008YG
